Philanthropy
 lpha Phi gives much of its time to local charities around Boulder. Sisters do their part by tutoring children at the Boys and Girls Club, delivering food for Meals on Wheels and cleaning up “the Hill”.
We bring our unrivaled enthusiasm and competitive spirit to fraternity and sorority philanthropies to raise money for their philanthropic causes and show support for their chapters. Past champions of Sigma Nu’s Greek Grand Slam, Phi Psi Powder Puff, Sigma Pi’s Miss Greek and March Madness, among others, Alpha Phi always goes out in full force for a good cause.
Alpha Phi’s philanthropic priority is to combat heart disease – the #1 killer of women in North America. Alpha Phi has been helping hearts since 1946, when the Fraternity officially adopted the cause. Today, the Foundation is dedicated to educating our members and the public about cardiac disease.
Waikiphi
Waikiphi is Alpha Phi’s annual spring philanthropic event raising money for cardiac care education. The greek community is invited to attend Waikiphi for some fun spent limboing, enjoying the palm trees and coconut drinks.
Phi BQ
Phi BQ is a volleyball tournament hosted by Alpha Phi at the University of Colorado. Fraternities and sororities spend the day in the sun and sand bumping, spiking and setting to raise money for cardiac research and education.
