Sisterhood

he members of Alpha Phi at the University of Colorado radiate the definition of sisterhood. Every Alpha Phi sister knows that at any hour of the day she can find friends lounging on our acclaimed "big red couches"; whether it's watching a movie, helping with homework, or just catching up, there is never a dull moment at the Alpha Phi house.

Known for our unity and spirit, it is not uncommon to see a huge group of APhis cheering on one of our sisters in the Miss Greek pageant, at a intramural tennis game yelling for a best friend, dancing at a fraternity social, or rushing the field after winning a powder puff.

Events like Phi’s on skis, which involve a bus trip to Breckenridge for a fun filled day of skiing brings us all together.  Our members always look forward to our annual sisterhood retreat filled with bonding activities and field events.  An annual kick off event in August may find us sliding down a 40-foot slide in front of the house or enjoying a barbeque at Boulder Reservoir.  A holiday trip to downtown Denver for shopping and dinner with our favorite 120 sisters is the way we ring in the holiday season.
